- In this section, we'll see how to classify emails in Outlook for Mac.
- Data classification is important for organizations to structure their data and understand the sensitivity of the information stored in it.
- Your organization defines classification labels and policies and makes them available for you to use. While composing an email, you'll see a set of classification labels chosen for you by your organization.
- To classify emails on Mac, users must have the Seclore for Mac agent installed and the Outlook add-in for Exchange Online published to them.

Note that attachments won’t be classified.
If your organization restricts sending emails with a specific label to certain domains, you won’t be able to send any emails to those domains with that label.
