- To access Seclore protected design files on Windows, you need to have the Seclore for Windows agent installed on your computer.
- If you try to access protected files without the agent, you will be redirected to a download page for the Adminless version of the agent.
Installing the Seclore agent on Windows
- Once the agent is installed, protected files will open within the supported desktop applications itself.
- Protected design files can be accessed through several widely used applications. These are AutoCAD, Inventor, Siemens NX, and SolidWorks.
- If you don’t have a licensed CAD application, you can still open Seclore protected design files using the free eDrawings Viewer by SolidWorks.

- You can export protected files in the formats supported by the Seclore agent. Supported formats for protection include step, stp, dwg, dxf, igs, iges, jt, and x_t.
